TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
When you book your hotel accommodation you enter into a legally binding contract subject to the conditions set out below. 

It is in your own interest to read them carefully.

Hotel Bookings
All bookings will require a credit/debit card guarantee. We reserve the right to pre authorise credit cards. The hotel accepts payments made by cash (Sterling only), and most major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, Solo, American Express).
The hotel is unable to accept personal or travellers cheques

Some of our best deals may require full prepayment at time of booking. The booking policies applicable to each available rate are clearly stated in our on line reservation system

Cancellation of any booking is required by 10am two days before date of arrival. Before this period, no charge is made, after this time, the full value of the hotel accommodation will be charged. Bookings made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation we will charge the processing cost of both the credit card transaction and refund, currently 2% of the amount processed.

Please be aware that due to the new PCI DSS regulations covering online credit card transactions, we never receive your card details. Your details are handled bySagePay our online payment provider. So you will need to telephone us with your card details for a refund to be issued. Credit card fraud is becoming increasingly common and we will carry out security checks on all refunds to ensure that a fraud it not being committed.
We reserve the right not to issue a refund at our discretion.

On receipt of your deposit or credit card/switch details, we accept that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and abide by them. On receipt of deposit either by cheque or credit/switch card these aforesaid terms and conditions are legally binding.

If it becomes necessary to cancel your booking we shall do our best to arrange alternative accommodation of a similar standard or we will provide a full refund. All tariffs are subject to change, within one week of arrival. We reserve the right to alter rooms allocated if necessary. No refunds/reductions will be given for meals booked and not taken. We are relieved of all liability should the hotel accommodation not be made available due to circumstances beyond our control and the deposit will be refunded in full.

Hotel Prices
Stade Court publishes a tariff every year. This is a guide to the price of a room by type and season but it is subject to change depending on the demand on any given day, so the price may go up or down from the tariff price. The tariff is calculated with VAT at 20%. If there is any rise in the rate, an increase may be applicable.

Hotel Smoking Policy
All our bedrooms, en suites, upper floors and public areas are non-smoking areas – it is against UK and EU law to smoke any part of this building. If any guest is found smoking in the hotel they will be asked to leave the premises, no deposit will be refunded. We as the proprietors reserve the right to levy a £100.00 charge for materials and labour to clean the fabrics and furnishings and any additional charges for the replacement of our property if it is damaged through burn marks due to cigarettes. Further charges may be incurred if the room has to remain empty to carry out further cleaning/remedial work and if further bookings have to be cancelled as a result due to smokers ignoring the hotel rules.

Unacceptable Behaviour and Damage Policy
In the event of unacceptable behaviour or of damage being caused, we reserve the right to terminate your stay immediately and without compensation. In the event that you do not leave, the police will be called. We reserve the right to charge your credit/debit card for the full amount of your stay, including any meals or other services you may have booked and in addition, reserve the right to charge your card for any repair, replacement or purchase of new items for damage caused. The replacement value or dry cleaning costs for all linen, upholstery and carpets that are irreversibly stained will be charged for, for example ink, lucozade, waterproof mascara, food dyes, sick, bleach, hair dye. Guests will be required to pay for any loss or damage to furniture or equipment provided in accommodation. Guests are required to report to us forthwith any details of any damage done to the property or any of the furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects to enable replacement to be arranged. We reserve the right to evict any persons causing nuisance or disturbance at any time during their stay without liability or refund. Only the persons stated on the booking in card will be permitted to occupy the hotel bedrooms, all non residents must use the lounge or other public rooms on the ground floor.
